Each year Sheridan Electric sends two youth member dependents on an all expense paid trip to Washington DC. This opportunity is open to sophomores and juniors in high school. Please follow the application guidelines and complete the application in full. Applications are evaluated by our education committee members. You may be asked to be a part of an in-person interview to further discuss scholarship opportunities and your future plans.

Available to any graduating senior or previous graduate of a school in Sheridan Electric's service territory pursuing a career as a lineman or electrician. Applicants do NOT need to be members of Sheridan Electric Co-op., Inc.

A scholarship is awarded to a student in Sheridan Electric Cooperative’s service area, from Basin Electric Power Cooperative.

Applicants will be chosen for the Montana Electric Cooperatives' Association Scholarship. The participating statewide electric co-ops submit their entries to MECA for competition with a chance for a $500.00 scholarship.
